Multichannel analyzer for parallel counting AMP-12 «Pulse-1A» is intended for:
- simultaneous reception of multiple channels of pulsesignals from the detection blocks and devices of ionizing radiation in the form of a sequence of statistically distributed pulses and measuring the counting rate of pulses;
- the simultaneous reception of multiple channels of analog signals the DC and voltage from the sensor with standardized output signals and convert them to physical quantities for each measuring channel.

Multichannel analyzer for parallel counting AMP-12 «Pulse-1A» (the analyzer) is a major structural element of the automated radiation monitoring system (ARMS) of NPPs. The analyzer is designed to create a new system or upgrade existing AKRB-03, 06,08 (Radiation safety monitoring equipment) and their analogues. AKRB-03, 06,08 built according to a three-level scheme:
• first (lower) level - detection units and devices; • the second (middle) level - information storage and processing devices; • the third (upper) level - a complex of technical means that unites all devices for storing and processing information and manages the operation of the system as a whole.The analyzer is used in measuring information systems of radiation control for normal operating conditions on NPPs.
The analyzer is a means of measuring equipment in accordance with GOST 27452-87 and refers to the technical means of measuring information systems of radiation control for normal operating conditions on NPPs.
The analyzer refers to the technical means of automation of normal operation information systems.To influence the NPP safety analyzer is classified as normal operation.
Multichannel analyzer for parallel counting AMP-12 «Pulse-1A» passed acceptance tests, assessment of compliance with technical regulations of legally regulated measuring equipment approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine №94 (13.01.2016) It has type examination certificate number UA.TR.113-0064/02-17 version 2 (26.10.21) which was registered in the State registry of measuring technique.
